tokenburning is an AI-tooling cost observability tool. The local collector runs on your machine; this site is the optional team platform. We designed the product to receive as little data as possible.

What we collect

• Email address — for passwordless sign-in (a one-time code).
• Derived aggregates pushed by a collector you connect: cost and token totals, day-level activity, session medians. We never receive your source code, prompts, project paths, or precise timestamps — those stay on your machine.

How we use it

Email is used only for sign-in. Aggregates power your organization dashboard and cohort statistics (shown only when 5+ members report). No advertising, no profiling.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Sign-in codes are delivered by our SMTP provider; the site is hosted on our own server. No third-party trackers or analytics.

Cookies

Only a technical session cookie (sign-in) and a language-preference cookie. No tracking cookies.

Retention & deletion

Data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data from the account page → "Danger zone" — deletion is irreversible and cascades to organizations you own and your contributions.

Your rights

Access your data (account page) and delete it (same place). For anything else, reach us via GitHub or the domain support email.
